Join Tejas Peace and Dignity Journeys for a prayer/run walk in honor of the beauty, power and culture of East Austin. This is an indigenous prayer walk/run honoring the traditions of our ancestors dedicated to building unity today and toward a better tomorrow. These local prayer runs connect us to a larger Indigenous intercontinental movement/prayer runs that occur every four years, coming again in 2020. Contact Victoria with any questions:

Water and van support will be on hand to support people in resting when needed.
Please dress comfortably for walking & running but with respect for ceremony and prayer. To all gender identities, please have your upper body covered up reasonably (i.e. no shirtless, low cut shirts or sports bras), women/femmes please wear comfortable long skirts. Women on their moontime can check in with Women organizers on specific protocol when they arrive. Bandanas and Fajas/Rebozos (waist bands/wraps are recommended for all).
Please bring: prayers/intentions, water bottle. All other personal items should be left in your vehicle. Please refrain from using technology during the prayer.
